Palm Beach has always been a major hub for the arts in Florida. In addition to a tremendous amount of luxury real estate to be had, residents and tourists can find some highly eclectic and rare pieces of artwork, crafts and antiques in this vibrant city. Thanks to the warm climate of the area, indoor and outdoor events that highlight some of the greatest minds in the area, as well as artists who travel to Palm Beach to show off their works, are held throughout the year. This December, the Palm Beach Jewelry, Antiques and Design Show will be held, giving everyone in the area a great opportunity to come out and view and purchase brilliant items. The show will kick off on Thursday, Dec. 1, with the Opening Night Preview Party, running from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. local time. Those who attend this particular portion of the event will get a first look at some of the items that will be on display throughout the duration of the weekend, while the roughly 100 exhibitors will also be in attendance. Remember, too, that this event not only is a great opportunity to view and purchase items, but also to speak with the people who created, found and curated the works. These individuals come from all over, while there are plenty of local artists to meet at this annual event as well. From there, the Palm Beach Jewelry, Antiques and Design Show will open for general admission Friday, Dec. 2 through Monday, Dec. 5. and run between 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, then 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Tickets cost between $20 and $125 depending upon the category you purchase, and the entire event will be at the Palm Beach County Convention Center on Okeechobee Boulevard in West Palm Beach. Do not miss out on a chance to view truly unique works from all over the world and various different periods, as it only comes around once a year. If you would like to take a look at some of the exhibitors who will be on display, take a look at this webpage through the event’s main site. Happy viewing!
