Although you might not be likely to see a white Christmas when spending the holidays in wine country, there are plenty of reasons to be happy about such travel plans. November and December are among the most beautiful months in the Sonoma Valley, and provide an exceptional opportunity to travelers to come and see why this area is so beloved. In addition to the immense diversity of luxury real estate, residents are treated to events throughout the year. This Nov. 25 and 26, the Heart of Sonoma Valley Winery Association will host one such attraction.
Toast the Holiday Season, an annual tradition held by the association, brings together wine lovers, makers and purveyors for a tasting of local vintages. Sonoma is certainly known for its eclectic and delectable wines, and this is a great opportunity to learn more about the people in your community.
This year’s iteration of Toast the Holiday Season will be held throughout the Sonoma Valley, with nearly 20 participating vineyards, wineries and cellars. Visitors will get full tours of many of these establishments, as well as time to talk to the experts who run them.
The event will be held between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. both of the days, and tickets are just $45 for a two-day pass in advance and $55 at the door. Notably, the advance tickets come with a complementary souvenir wine glass, as well as entrance to all of the incredible wineries participating in the event. The Sonoma Valley Winery Association also offers $10 two-day passes to designated drivers attending. Don’t miss your chance to kick off the winter season the right way – with the vintners of Sonoma Valley!
